KLF (also known as The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, The Timelords, The JAMs, and other aliases) is a British electronic music group formed by Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty in the late 1980s. They rose to fame with their hit single "Doctorin' the House" and went on to become one of the most influential and controversial acts of the British dance music scene. KLF's music was characterized by its innovative use of sampling and their eclectic mix of genres such as hip hop, house, and ambient. The group disbanded in 1992 after a series of high-profile stunts, including burning £1 million in cash.
